Dr. Boen is a graduate from Bogor University who worked in forest management throughout his career. As a lecturer and former Secretary General of the Indonesian Ministry of Forestry, he spans governance and academia. Currently, he is Chairman of Sarana Wana Jaya Foundation, an advisor to the Association of Indonesian Forest Concessionaires (APHI) and a Board of Trustee member to the Indonesian Wildlife Conservation Foundation.
